Security company attacked northern Dhi-Qar



Dhi-Qar, Nassiriya (IraqiNews.com) A patrol of private security company resposnible for protecting an investment foreign Oil Company suffered an armed attack in northern Dhi-Qar province. 




Security source mentioned to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com on Thursday “Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting the security patrol while it was passing through Rifaee district of northern Dhi-Qar province.”

The source added “The security company is tasked with protecting the delegations of the Malaysian oil company (Bitronas) which invests in the Gharraf oil field in the province,” noting that “The armed attack did not result in any human casualties or material damages.”
