Security forces advance towards Daluwiyia Airport

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Interior announced Friday, that the Iraqi security forces have had the area of Albu Teama liberated as they advance to free the Daluwiya Airport in al-Daluwiya.

The Interior Ministry spokesman, Major General Saad Moen informed IraqiNews, “This afternoon, the federal police forces have managed to free the area of Albu teama, located between al-Mutasim and Daluwiya districts,” noting that, “The forces are currently advancing towards Albu Salibi area to retake the Daluwiya military airbase.”
