Security forces begin operation in al-Dajil, 10 ISIS militants killed

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, a security source in Salahuddin province stated, that 10 ISIS elements have been killed in an operation in al-Dajil district, located southern Tikrit.

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, informed IraqiNews, “A security force backed by volunteer fighters from al-Hashed al-Sha’abi forces have begun an extensive security operation to liberate al-Naba’ai area of al-Dajil district, located 120 km southern Tikrit,” pointing out that, “So far, ten ISIS militants have been killed in the operation.”

“Iraqi forces are currently advancing to liberate the entire area of al-Naba’ai,” the source added.
