Security forces control Falka in al-Alam district east of Tikrit

(IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, the security forces backed by the Volunteer Fighters managed to control Falka in al-Alam district east of Tikrit and surrounded it from all sides in preparation for raiding it.

IraqiNews reporter in Salahuddin said, “This afternoon, the security forces backed by the Volunteer Fighters (al Hashd al Sha’bi) were able to control ‘Falka’ in al-Alam east of Tikrit,” pointing out that those forces cordoned off the area from all sides.

He added that those forces now mobilize their elements in preparation for storming al-Alam district after have seized the bridge linking Tikrit and Albu-Ajeel.
