(IraqiNews.com) The commander of al-Jazeerah Operations, Maj. Gen. Ali Ibrahim Dabon, announced on Wednesday dismantling 675 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in the eastern axis of al-Baghdadi, asserting that the security forces had detonated tens of explosive devices during the operation.

Dabon stated in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A force from the anti-explosives force which belongs to al-Jazeerah Operations, in coordination with the seventh brigade, had managed to dismantle 675 explosive devices during operations to cleanse the eastern axis in the district of al-Baghdadi (90 km west of Ramadi).”
