Salahuddin (IraqiNews) A security source in Salahuddin Province informed, on Tuesday, that Iraqi security forces managed to free an abductee from Baghdad and arresting her kidnapper, west of Tuz Khurmatu District.

The source told Alsumaria News that the Rapid Response team of the 3rd brigade managed, today, to free an abductee from Baghdad and arrested her abductor, who is a truck driver from Kirkuk.

The operation took place in Hayy al-Tean, west of Tuz Khurmatu, the source added. The abductee is 18 years old and a resident of Baghdad, he further explained.

It is noteworthy that Tuz Khurmatu is the central city of Tuz District, in Salahuddin Province. The town is multi-ethnic, with a majority of Turkmen and Kurdish and Arab minority.
