Security forces remove 150 explosives from Balad and Daluwiyia
Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, the Ministry of Interior announced, that the security forces have removed 150 explosive devices in the areas of Balad and Daluwiyia in the province of Salahuddin.
The Interior Ministry spokesman Major General Saad Mo’en said in an interview with IraqiNews, “The federal police forces have managed to remove 150 explosives in the areas of Balad and Daluwiyia, located in southern Tikrit,” adding that, “The police special units have blown up two bombed houses in those residential areas.”
Noteworthy, the Ministry of Interior has announced yesterday, that the district of Balad and its surrounding areas have been completely freed and secured by the Iraqi security forces and armed volunteers.
