Security forces and volunteer fighters are besieging ISIS in Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – A source in Anbar province announced on Monday, that the security forces, al-Hashed al-sha’bi Militia and tribal fighters are besieging ISIS elements in the city of Ramadi.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Joint security forces forces backed by al-Hashed al-sha’bi Militia and tribal fighters are currently besieging ISIS elements in the city of Ramadi in al-Anbar province.”

The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The security forces backed by Hashed al-sha’bi Militia and tribal fighters are preparing to break into the city soon.”

Iraqi forces have retreated back to Khalidiya with ISIS following close behind, and its ISIS forces that are trying to encircle the Iraqi forces at Khalidiya, but the Iraqi forces at Khalidiya are too strong with reinforcements coming from the big Iraqi base at Habbaniyah which is receiving more reinforcements.
