Security measures intensified in Dhi-Qar

Dhi-Qar (IraqiNews.com) The Command of Dhi-Qar Police forces instructed to intensify the security measures all over the province on Monday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The decision comes in response to the recommendation of the Local Government in anticipation of any security breaches due to the political crisis,” noting that “The Local Government is concerned about possibility of exploiting the political crisis by the armed groups supported by the foreign sides.”

“The measures include intensifying the police patrols, searching operations, deploying checkpoints and doubling the intelligence efforts,” the source concluded.
