Security official: Some ISIS terrorists surrendered before security forces arrived to Amerli district

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Security Committee within Salah il-Din Provincial Council, Mahdi Taqi, stated that the attack against the ISIL terrorists to liberate Amerli district is from three sides.

Taqi stated to IraqiNews.com “The volunteers and the security forces started to enter Amerli district to liberate it where some of the ISIL terrorists surrendered before their arrival and the attack was from three sides.”

“The Transport Minister, Hadi al-Amiri, is heading the volunteers over there and the nest few hours will witness liberating Amerli from the ISIL terrorists,” he concluded.
