Several car bombs, IEDs defused in Salah-il-Din

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) The security forces managed to defuse several car bombs and Improvised Explosive Devices in different areas of Salah-il-Din province on Monday.

Salah-il-Din Police Commander General Karim al-Khazraji stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Monday “The Explosive Ordinance Disposal units defused several car bombs and IEDs and also detonated two Car bombs under control in Balad district of southern Salah-il-Din and detonated an improvised motor bike bomb under control in Beiji district.”

“The security forces also detonated a car bomb and defused a bomb in Dijail district in addition to defusing an IED in Siniya district as well as defusing another IED in Yathrib district of central Salah-il-Din province,” he added.

“All these operations did not cause any casualties or damage,” General Khazraji concluded.
