Six killed, injured west of Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Six civilians, among them three Izidi citizens, were killed or injured to fire shooting from unidentified gunmen against their vehicle to the west of Mosul city in Nineveh province.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Saturday “Unidentified gunmen blocked the road ahead of a vehicle transporting civilians near Sinjar Mountain (120 km) to the west of Mosul city, and shot fire on the vehicle.”

The attack resulted in killing an Izidi citizen and his son as well as injuring his other son along with three other civilians, the source added.

“Security forces cordoned off the attack area and started transporting the victims to the hospital,” the source concluded.
