9 soldiers killed, wounded in Tikrit [07/24/2013]

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Five Iraqi Army soldiers were killed and four others were wounded in an armed attack on Tikrit.Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting a bus carrying Iraqi Army soldiers heading towards their military unit in Nineveh province.””The armed attack resulted un killing five soldiers and wounding four others, including the driver of the bus,” the source added.”The security forces rushed to the incident scene transporting the corpses the morgue and the wounded to hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
