Statistics: September bloodiest month in Iraq in 2012

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Official statistics confirmed that “Last September/2012 was the bloodiest in terms of the number of casualties of the violence operations in Iraq.”

The death toll reported by the Ministries of Interior, Defense and Health showed that last September was the bloodiest month since more than couple years where it reached (365) murdered persons.

The outcome indicated that (182) civilians were killed in violent activities across the country, while (95) soldiers and (88) policemen were murdered.

The statistics also showed that (683) persons were injured among them (453) civilians, (120) soldiers and (110) of police elements while (64) armed individuals were killed and 242 persons have been arrested.
