Suicide bomber from Iran hits Peshmerga in Qalaat-Diza

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: A suicide bomber on Wednesday blew himself up near a gathering of the Pehsmerga (Kurdish armed) forces in the Qalaat-Diza district, northeast of the Sulaimaniya city. “The bomber came from Iran,” a local security source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He explained that Kurdish security forces recognized the bomber and opened fire on him, but he was able to blow himself up. “Number of casualties is still unknown,” the source added.
