Suicide man who blew himself up in Shiite Procession in Baladruz, former Buca Camp prisoner:

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: The suicide man, who blew himself up amid a Shiite procession in east Iraq‘s Baladruz township, killing and wounding several persons last Monday, had been a former prisoner, released from the U.S. Buca Prison and had worked as preacher in a Diala Mosque, according to the Chairman of the Security Committee in Diyala Council’s Province. “The Council’s Security Committee had discovered the identity of the suicide man, who blew himself up last Monday amid a Husseini Shiite procession,” Muthanna al-Tamimi told IraqiNews.com news agency, pointing out that the man “is called Hani Faisal al-Dainy, a leader in al-Qaeda Organization and a former prisoner in Buca Prison.” Tamimi also said “Dainy had worked after his release, as mosque preacher in al-Gaton area of Baaquba city, the center of Diala Province,” adding that”he had been also accused of killing his own mother few years ago!” Noteworthy is that a suicide man, wearing an explosive belt, had blown himself up last Monday, aimed at a Shiite Husseini procession in Baladruz, 45 kms to the southwest of Baaquba, killing 4 persons, including a policeman, and wounding 17 others. Buca Prison is the second American prison in Iraq, after Baghdad’s Abu-Ghuraib Prison, and was built by the U.S. forces close to southern Iraq‘s Um-Qasr Terminal..It was closed according to the Security Agreement, signed between Iraq and the United States in September last year.
