Suspected members of armed groups arrested

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Thirteen persons believed to belong to armed groups were arrested in eastern Falluja, a police source said on Sunday. “The arrests were made in light of intelligence tips,” Lt. Col. Walid Nouri told IraqiNews.com news agency. “One of those arrested confessed during preliminary interrogation that he is the leader of the so-called ‘Islamic State of Iraq’,” Nouri noted. Falluja lies 45 km west of Baghdad; while Ramadi, the capital city of Anbar, is 110 west of Baghdad. SS (P) 1
