Suspected murderer of former governor handed over to Iraqis

MUTHANNA / IraqiNews.com: The Multi-National Force (MNF) has handed over to Iraqi authorities a detainee who is believed to have been involved in the killing of the former Muthanna governor. “The procedure has been taken to enable local security forces and the Iraqi judiciary to try the suspect,” according to a statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. The handover has been made in accordance with the security agreement signed between Iraq and the United States.
