Ankara (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyep Erdogan said that the Syrian Kurds reject the help of Iraqi Kurdish Peshmerga forces in defending the town of Kobani.

In a press statement made on his flight back from Estonia, Erdogan noted that the Syrian-Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) rejected the help of Iraqi Kurds by allowing Peshmerga forces to take over Kobani. The Syrian Kurds are concerned about losing their power over the northern part of Syria.

Noteworthy, the Kurdistan Alliance in Iraq announced that Peshmerga special troops with heavy weapons and gear will arrive tomorrow in Kobani through Turkey, and will fight alongside the Syrian Kurds.
