Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Turkish artillery shelled several border areas in Kurdistan Region.

According to informed sources ”The Turkish artillery shelled border areas in Sedkan neighborhood within Suran district of Erbil province.”

The source added that ”The shelling did not result in any human casualties because the people of the area were already displaced from their houses due to the previous bombing which they suffered from,” noting that “The shelling caused material damages to the farms and orchards in that area.”

From time to time, the Turkish forces attack the border villages in Kurdistan Region under the pretext of chasing PKK elements on the border, which led to displacing the citizens of those areas from their homes. \
