Turkish warplanes kill, injure 18 civilians in border village north of Erbil

(IraqiNews.com) Erbil – Local witnesses in a border village north of Erbil revealed on Saturday, that 18 civilians have been either killed or injured during a Turkish bombing on the village.
One witness, known as Sabah Abdullah, said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Turkish warplanes bombed, today, the border village of Zarkli in north of Erbil, killing eight civilians and wounding 10 others, in addition to destroying seven houses.”
Abdullah also added, “The village had none of the PKK militants,” calling on the provincial government and the world “to intervene to stop the Turkish bombardment on their areas.”
