Turkish warplanes resume bombing areas in Kurdistan Region

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) Turkish warplanes violated the airspace of Kurdistan Region and shelled many border areas on Friday night.

An informed source of Besht Ashan village mentioned in press statement that ”The Turkish warplanes shelled all of the villages of Besht, Ashan and Sleo which are located at Qandil mount,” noting that “The Turkish attack lasted for about an hour.”

The source added “The Turkish bombing resulted in injuring one citizens and created a state of herror among the people.”

The Turkish warplanes and artillery are shelling the border areas of Kurdistan Region since 2003 under the pretext of chasing the elements of PKK who oppose the Turkish regime.
