2 Turkish warplanes violate Kurdistan airspace

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) Two Turkish warplanes violated the airspace of Kurdistan Region by hovering over Qandel area in the border areas of Kurdistan Region without shelling the area.

The Office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan reported in statement to IraqiNews.com on Friday that ”The two warplanes did not shell the area, stressing that ”The repeated military aviation created a panic situation among the citizens who were afraid of being shelled at any moment.”

Turkish warplanes have shelled the border area within Sedkan area of Suran district in Erbil province on last Thursday night and shelled the border areas.

According to an informed source “The Turkish air bombing resulted in material damages to the orchards and farms in the border areas in addition to destroying a bridge in Ermosh village of Juakourk district.”
