Two Iraqi soldiers killed in militant attack southern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A source within the police force said Saturday, that two soldiers have been killed in a militant attack on a military post in southern Baghdad.

The source told IraqiNews, “Unknown militants have attacked a security post that belongs to the Iraqi army in the area of al-Latifiyah, located in southern Baghdad,” noting that, “Two soldiers have been killed during the attack.”

“A security force blockaded the area, while ambulances transferred the victims to the Forensic Medicine Authority,” the source added.
