U.S army nabs 10 “Special Groups” suspects in Baghdad-military

BAGHDAD/IraqiNews.com: The U.S. army on Thursday announced its forces arrested ten “Special Groups” suspects during raid operations conducted in Baghdad. “Coalition forces continue to degrade the Special Groups network with the capture of three suspects Thursday morning during two separate operations in New Baghdad,” said a U.S. army statement received by IraqiNews.com. “Coalition forces have apprehended seven Special Groups criminals,” the announcement noted. Special group is a language used by the U.S. army to call Shiite group it believed trained, financed and equipped with weapons by Iran to attack American-Iraqi forces in Iraq.
