U.S. drone crashed in Iraq

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The U.S. army said on Tuesday that one of its drones crashed in central Iraq , the second incident of its kind in less than 24 hours. “The U.S. Predator drone crashed on Tuesday (Sept. 15) in central Iraq while on a mission,” said the statement received by Iraqi News. The army ruled out that the incident happened as a result of hostile fire, noting that the incident caused no human or material damage in the region it crashed in. SH (P)/SR 1
