Urgent – .12 members of Asayish forces killed, injured in Tuz Khurmatu

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) 12 members of Asayish Kurdish security forces were killed and injured due on Sunday to car bomb explosion in Tuz Khurmatu district of Salah il-Din province.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Car bomb driven by a suicide bomber exploded at Ma’arid St. in Tuz Khurmatu targeting checkpoint belonging to Ashayish forces, thus resulted in killing eight members and injuring four others.”

“The security forces blocked the bombing spot, then transported the injured security members to a hospital for treatment while the dead bodies were sent to the morgue,” the source added..
