Urgent – 11 civilians including Iranian pilgrims killed, injured in southern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A number of civilians, including Iranian pilgrims, were killed and injured when a car bomb went off near the holy shrine of Salman Bak of southern Baghdad.

A Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “A car bomb detonated near the holy shrine of Salman Bak of southern Baghdad resulted in killing two civilians and injuring nine others.”

“The explosion resulted in material damages to the nearby shops and cars,” the source added, noting that “The police forces seized the area in anticipation of any more explosions and transferred the injured and dead body to the nearby hospital.”
