URGENT/ Baghdad blast wounds 4

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Four persons were wounded in a blast that ripped through northeastern Baghdad, Iraqi authorities said on Sunday. “A roadside improvised explosive device (IED) planted by unknown men in al-Qahira neighborhood, close to the Higher Judicial Institute in northeastern Baghdad went off while an Iraqi police patrol vehicle was passing the location,” a police source told IraqiNews.com. “The explosion wounded three patrolmen and a civilian, who was close to the scene of the blast,” the source noted, adding that security forces sealed off the area and rushed the wounded to a nearby hospital.
