Urgent – Car bomb explodes in Balad district

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) About (14) persons were killed and wounded when a car bomb exploded in Balad district of southern Tikrit city.Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Monday “The car bomb, which was parked on a roadside near vehicles’ parking garage, exploded targeting a bus carrying Iranian pilgrims were heading towards the holy Shrine of Imam Mohamed in Balad district.””Four Iraqis were killed while ten Iranian pilgrims were wounded due to the car bomb explosion,” the source added.”The ambulances rushed to the explosion scene and transported the dead bodies to the morgue and the wounded people to a hospital for treatment,” the source pointed out.
