Urgent – .Car bomb explodes southern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Several civilians have been killed due to a car bomb after assassinating a civilian person in southern Baghdad.

A security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Sunday “A car bomb exploded near a bakery shop in Baya’ district of southern Baghdad resulted in killing and injuring a number of civilians,” noting that “The blast took place after a gunmen assassinated a civilian in the earlier mentioned area.”

“A security force blocked the explosion scene and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital,” the source added.
