Urgent – 5 car bombs detonated in Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) Five car bombs exploded in Kirkuk on Thursday morning killing and injuring dozens of civilians and policemen.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Thursday “Five car bombs exploded in western and central Kirkuk which resulted in killing and injuring a number of civilians as well as security elements after targeting a police station.”

“The total number of casualties has not been identified yet,” the source added, noting that “Police forces cordoned off the explosions sites and transferred the dead bodies to the morgue and the injured people to the hospital for treatment.”
