Urgent – Curfew imposed in Salah-il-Din

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) The police forces of Salah-il-Din province imposed a curfew on the background of prisoners’ escape from Tasfirat prison in Tikrit city which is controlled by gunmen.

”The Command of Salah-il-Din Police Department imposed a curfew in Tikrit city on the background of the escape of prisoners from Tasfirat prison which became under the control of unidentified gunmen,” security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com.

The source added “The armed clashes between the Iraqi Army forces and the gunmen who controlled the prison are still going on.”
