Urgent – .Death toll of Sadr city explosion climbs further to 36 deaths, injuries

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The death toll of the explosion that took place in Mredy market in Sadr city of eastern Baghdad on Thursday climbed further to 36 injuries and deaths.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “Nine were killed and 31 other were injured.”

Earlier, a car bombing took place in central Sadr city of eastern Baghdad on Thursday morning.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The explosion targeted Mredy Market in central Sadr city on Thursday,” noting that “The reason behind the explosion is not identified yet.”

Sadr city witnessed three car bombings on last Wednesday.
