Urgent – Gunmen took over Iraqi border port

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Unidentified gunmen took over the (Elierbeh) border port between Iraqi and Syria.

An eye witnesses coming from Syria reported to the correspondent of Iraqi News on Saturday that ”The unidentified gunmen controlled Elierbeh border port, near Rabeaa border port closer to the Iraqi territory, after the Syrian security forces withdrawal from the port.”

The witnesses confirmed that ”Civilian vehicle carries gunmen were roaming in the port after the Syrian security forces withdrawal from it.”

The opposition Syrian forces (Free Army) which opposes the Syrian regime took over (Albu Kamal) border port near Anbar province from the Syrian side.

Several Syrian cities suffer of violence in addition to popular demonstration and protests calling to bring down the current Syrian regime. \
