Urgent – IED goes off in sports stadium in Ramadi

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) Two athletes were killed while others were injured when an Improvised Explosive Device IED exploded in Ramadi city of central Anbar province.Security source told IraqiNews.com ”The IED, which was placed in a cabin in the stadium of Nasr sport club, exploded killing two athletes and wounding others as an initial count.””The security forces evacuated the area and transported the dead bodies of the victims to the morgue while the wounded people were sent to a hospital for treatment,” the source added.
