Urgent – .4 IPs killed northern Babel

Babel (IraqiNews.com) A number of Iraqi policemen were killed due to explosion of an IED that targeted their patrol in north of Babel.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “An IED that was planted in a roadside exploded targeting a patrol belongs to the federal police resulted in killing four of its elements in Jurf Al Sakhar district to the north of Babel province.

“The explosion coincided with a security campaign in the district,” the source added noting “the police cordoned off the incident place and transported the injured members to a hospital while the dead bodies were sent to the morgue.”
