Urgent – ISIL attempt to target Holy Shrine of Askarain foiled

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) The security forces foiled a terrorist attack by the elements of the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant to target the Holy Shrine of Imams al-Askarain.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The security force foiled the terrorist attack to target the Holy Shrine and stopped the terrorists who were moving towards the Shrine.”

“The terrorists controlled most of the areas of Samara city and they are about half kilometer from the Shrine.” The source concluded.
