Urgent – 46 persons killed, injured southern Baquba

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) 46 persons were killed and injured due an explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device inside a mosque of southern Baquba central of Diyala province.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED emplaced inside a cooler in Abu Qasim mosque of Um al-Atham area of southern Baquba to result in killing 13 persons and injuring 33 others.”

“The police force seized the area and transferred the injuries to the nearby hospital for treatment and the dead bodies to the morgue,” the source concluded.
