 Iraqi Finance Minister discusses cooperation with Britain, France

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Minister of Finance, Taif Sami, discussed with the British and French ambassadors to Iraq the joint cooperation in the financial, economic and investment sectors, according to a press statement issued by the Finance Ministry.

The statement revealed that Sami received the French Ambassador to Iraq, Eric Chevalier, and the British Ambassador to Iraq, Mark Bryson-Richardson in two separate meetings in Baghdad, the statement mentioned.

The meetings with the two politicians addressed ways to enhance joint cooperation between Iraq, Britain and France, as well as building partnerships to promote sustainable development in the financial, economic and investment sectors, the statement clarified.

Sami expressed the Iraqi government’s aspiration for constructive cooperation with the international community to serve the interest of the people.

The two ambassadors expressed their appreciation to the Iraqi minister for her reception and her efforts in strengthening the relations with their countries.
