 Iraq’s revenues from oil exports fall by 3%

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Iraq’s revenues from oil exports decreased by three percent during January, reaching $8.025 billion.

According to statistics issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, revenues generated from oil exports in January decreased by $291 million, or by three percent, reaching $8.025 billion, compared to December, when oil export revenues were $8.316 billion, Shafaq News reported.

Revenues from oil exports through Iraq’s southern ports decreased by 1.63 percent in January to reach $7.929 billion, compared to December, when revenues were $8.288 billion.

According to data, Iraq exported 464,306 barrels of crude oil to Jordan in January with revenues of $298 million.

The State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO) revealed that Iraq’s total exports of crude oil during January were slightly more than 103.5 million barrels, compared to a little more than 108.05 million barrels in December.

The average daily quantity exported last month reached 3,338,982 barrels, while the average price per barrel reached $77,536.
