AFC nominates Iraqi referee for Asian Juniors Finals
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Asian Football Confederation nominated the assistant referee Hussein Turkey to participate in leading some matches at Asian finals for juniors to be held in Tehran from September 12 till October 4th.
The head of the Referees Committee within the Iraqi Football Association, Tariq Ahmed, assured for Iraqi News Tuesday “The AFC informed us officially that it decided to nominate the international referee Hussein Turkey to be within the referee teams which will lead the matches of the championship.”
It is worth to mention that the Iraqi team has qualified to the finals of this championship to fall in the second group along with teams of Australia, Oman and Thailand and it is going to start its matches against Oman on September 12th.
