Erbil ties with Kathma in 1st round of AFC
Erbil (IraqiNews.com) Erbil FC’s match with the Kuwaiti team, Kathma, ended with a positive draw in the first match of the second group within the ninth version of the Asian Football Cup AFC, the match took place today in Francois Hariri Stadium in Erbil.
The correspondent of (IraqiNews.com) reported on Tuesday that “The first half of the match ended scoreless and did not meet the expectations, the second half witnessed increasing in the performance of both teams, Kathma missed many dangerous opportunities, Kathma’s goal was scored at the 73rd minute of the second half through Hamad Al-Harbi after a defensive mistake committed by Erbil’s defensive line.”
“Erbil’s reaction came after five minutes when it’s Nigerian forward Abuddy Ivy scored the equalizer in the 78th minute of the second half after another defensive mistake,” the correspondent added.
