FIFA grants Iraq 60 days to conduct new elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Football International Federation Association (FIFA) granted Iraq (60) days duration to conduct the new elections after the resolution of ICAS Court which stipulates to cancel the elections that occurred on 18/ June / 2011.The First Deputy Chairman of the Iraqi Football Association (IFA), Abdul Khaliq Masud, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The IFA received a letter from the FIFA that determine 20/ January/ 2014 as a date to conduct the new elections.””The FIFA identified the date based on resolution of the ICAS Court since the opponents Group won the case that was filed against the Iraqi Football Association,” the statement added. \END\
