Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Football Association (IFA) formed a committee to inspect the stadiums in the provinces to hold the matches of the Iraqi Premier League starting from next round after Iftar time (evening time) during the holy month of Ramadan as a result for the heat wave that sweeps Iraq recently.

The Deputy Secretary General of IFA Tariq Ahmed stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Sunday “The Association formed a committee to visit the stadiums and make sure the lights are available to hold the matches at evening time.”

Ahmed mentioned that “IFA does not face a problem since there are two stadiums in Baghdad and two others in Kurdistan Region have the necessary appliances to play the matches in the evening time.”

The problem lies in the stadiums of the southern region, Ahmed concluded.
