Iraq National Football Team plays Singapore Wednesday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi National Football Team will play today its Singaporean counterpart on the last match of the third round of 2014 world Cup qualifiers in Brazil.


The Iraqi team occupies the second place on its group which includes [Jordan, Singapore and China] behind Jordan with the same points.

 

The Iraqi Football Association IFA announced on the 14th of February a list of the [24] players to play Singapore in the match to be held in the Qatari capital Doha.

 

The national team in this match is composed of [Mohammed Kasid, Noor Sabri, Jalal Hassan, Ali Hussein Rehaima, Salam Shaker, Basim Abbas, Samal Saeed, Mohammed Ali Kareem, Husam Kadhim, Qusay Moneer, Muthana Khalid, Nashat Akram, Hawar Mulla Mohammed, Saad Abdul Amir, Mehdi Karim, Karrar Jasim, Younis Mahmoud, Mustafa Karim, Ahmed Ibrahim, Walid Bahar, Loay Salah, Ali Salah and Ibrahim]. 


The first match between the Iraqi and Singaporean teams ended with two goals for Iraq, scored by Younis Mahmood who plays for Al Wakra FC in Qatar and Alaa Abdul Zahra who plays for Qatar FC in Qatar.
