Iraq plays Poland in June

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi and Polish soccer federations agreed to a match between the two countries’ teams in Warsaw in June, according to the Iraqi federation’s secretary general. “The Polish federation will host the Iraqi team for the period June 6-9, 2009,” Hadi Jawad told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The match will be played in Warsaw on June 8, before the Iraqi team’s trip to South Africa to participate in the intercontinental tournament that will take place there from June 14 to June 28, 2009,” he said.
