Iraqi National Team to play friendly match with Sierra Leonean Counterpart

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi National Football Team will play a friendly match against Sierra Leonean National Team in the Turkish city of Istanbul on Wednesday.

The managing director of the Iraqi Team, Riyad Abdul-Abbas, said to IraqiNews.com “The Olympic stadium in Istanbul will host the match of the Iraqi team with the Sierra Leonean counterpart at seven o’clock of Wednesday evening.”

“The Iraqi Football Association succeeded in providing the match after many attempts conducted with the Turkish side,” he pointed out.

“A Turkish International crew of referees will lead the match,” he mentioned.

The Iraqi National Team is conducting a training camp in Turkey since more than ten days within its preparations for the final qualifiers for 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil.
