Kuwaiti Kathma FC arrives at Erbil

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Kuwaiti Kathma FC football team arrived in Erbil International Airport on Sunday to play with Erbil FC on the first round of the Asian Football Cup AFC on Tuesday.

The head of Kathma FC delegation As’ad Banwan said in a press conference attended by the correspondent of (IraqiNews.com) on Sunday that he was “happy to be in Kurdistan Region,” stressing that “I have good information about Erbil FC which has a long experience in the AFC competitions.”

He added “This will be a difficult match especially after two weeks of the Kuwaiti league’s suspention because of the Kuwaiti National team’s preparations for its match against the South Korean team,” hoping that “Kathma team to give good performance on Tuesday.”

Banwan mentioned that “Kathma FC’s delegation consists of [39] players, coaches and administrators staff, there are three professional players in addition to the Kuwaiti players.”
