Sports minister urges Kuwaiti companies to invest in Iraq

Iraq-Kuwait BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Sports and Youth Minister Jassem Mohamed Jaafar on Monday called on Kuwaiti companies to invest in Iraq, mainly in contributing to the Basra sports city project, according to the director of the media office of the ministry. “The Iraqi minister, during his meeting on Monday (Jan. 5) with the President of Kuwaiti Olympic Committee Sheikh Ahmed al-Fahd in Muscat, called on Kuwaiti companies to invest in Iraq and to contribute in setting up the Basra sports city,” Aasefa Moussa told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The minister asserted the importance of benefiting from the gulf championship to develop relations among the gulf countries,” she added.
